Hiring: Junior Graphic Designer

Kreeda, India's coolest online game tribe is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer. It's a busy old time in the gaming world, which is why we are banging on your door... A fantastic opportunity has arisen for budding stars in the industry to join our InHouse Design Team to create award winning work. This role offers a fresh, never-before designed, brand-spanking new games. We are growing and we need a couple of pioneering spirits; Graphic Designers (GDs) to be a part of our in-house design team.
GD's must be dependable and able to adhere to strict deadlines in a team environment. Candidate must be self motivated and a fast learner. Web designing experience will be a plus point.
POSITION SUMMARY
The GD will perform design tasks related to gaming products and various publicity material related to the product released and miscellaneous items with limited supervision. The GD will work with Product Manager / Marketing Team to ensure design compliance with customer specifications and requirements. He/She will ensure design quality and compliance with industry standards and industry codes.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
o Review and understand the scope of supply of the assigned projects.
o Design a quality product on-time and at the lowest achievable cost.
o Develop Options as required.
o Applying design principles, and resolving usability problems.
o Develop and maintain a design document register.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
o Art school / collage degree/diploma. Associates degree/diploma from a technical school or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
o 1-3 years work experience in related industry.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Technical
o Computer proficiency required in Adobe CS2 or CS3 family including: Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design and such in Mac/PC platforms
o Ability to create and execute layout/artwork and complete with little supervision.
o Understanding of market demands and trends.
o Knowledge of Print and Web Media
