Hiring: Art Director

Our digital group (which now combines the expertise of JWT, Ogilvy and Wunderman Detroit) is growing like crazy. Like that plant that shoots up three feet in one day. Bamboo. That’s it. (Very sustainable resource, by the way.) Point is: we need creative minds to help with the subsequent growing pains.
So what are we looking for in aforementioned creative types? Let’s break it down – Q&A-style.
Are you like a master tightrope walker when it comes to balancing good creative and managing the people that churn it out? (We have some *Associate Creative Director *positions in mind for people like you.)
Do you like to talk about typography, wax poetic about color, ignore most copy that’s longer than two lines? (Lucky for you, there are some *Art Director *positions open… and kudos to you for getting through this much copy to find that out.)
Do you obsess over the right words, the right amount of wit, the right cadence in your quest to achieve the perfect copy tone – all without the overuse of exclamation points? (Well, step right up there, Copywriter, we need more of your kind.)
Now, if one of these sounds palatable to you, great. Just make sure you’re detail-oriented, idea-driven and, well, good-natured on most days. (Because we’ll turn on you if you’re consistently grouchy. Like a pack of hyenas.)
