We've just uploaded our new PASTE site at www.paste.com.au

It's a little known fact: Japanese cranes mate for life. A good deal of the Great Influx of web designers could learn a lot from their feathered friends. Designs, in all their modern forms, may not necessarily outlast your physical body, but they should last a great deal of time, remaining relevant and effective and great to look at, running alongside or you, or in some cases, a ways in front.

Here's a little bit about PASTE:

Design, like Australian singer-songwriters, can age quickly. Paste was formed in part to provide a design option for forward-thinking businesses, businesses for whom a design must be attractive, functional and unique. Businesses who would rather not see their design investment join the conveyer belt of dated, dysfunctional designs dotting the web and print landscape in the months it takes to get people using them.

Paste specialises in branding, web, print and graphic design, advertising and campaign planning. They meld something of the Japanese work ethic with Australian can-do, borrowing something of the sophistication and honesty from each. Paste offers a wide variety of bleeding-edge design options from the massively complex to the deceptively simple, realising your needs across a range of mediums.

Paste is involved with a community of like-minded designers, writers and developers, but remains in possession of a willingness to think outside the boundaries designed by the design elite, in all their tight-panted shapes and sizes. Experimentation can sometimes mean cross-breeding pigs and jellyfish, but in Paste's capable hands, it means singular, sharp-looking things attacking your demographic in previously unseen ways. You will think, damn. You will be working with us to get you thinking, I might never have thought of that.

Paste, in collaboration with a network of developers, coders, copywriters, illustrators and information architects, can deliver work in a manner that redefines expediency, while never losing sight of a single detail. It takes peculiar people to be able to offer a service like this, and Paste plays host to just such a delicate assortment of gifted heads.

People
As any Richard Attenborough and Paula Abdul will tell you, the universe works best when it sees the union of opposing elements. Paste sees the union of just two such forces, in Anna Nicholson and Steven Watts, two seasoned designers based out of Sydney.

Anna Nicholson > www.annanicholson.com

Steven Watts > www.stevenwatts.com.au
