Kumi Yamashita created this back in 2003 for permanent display at the 2nd floor of Namba Parks Tower, Osaka, japan. The numbers scattered on the wall, lit from the right, cast a silhouette of a woman.

Creative 30

It’s no secret that Britain is buzzing right now with creative energy. From countless new music scenes to some of the best graphic design and illustration seen today, fashion, art and culture from the UK is setting a benchmark for quality and creativity worldwide. VICE, Volvo, The Independent and Yahoo! have teamed up on a project called Creative 30 which enlisted the help of icons such as Vivienne Westwood, Wiley, Jiro Bevis, Klaxon’s James Righton and Saam Farahmand to help choose thirty of Britain’s top young creatives.

The public get the chance to vote on their favourite creative and the website features interesting short documentaries on each of the new talents. This blog feature on the competition also features an interview with the panel of judges.....

Popwhore + Nike Sportsware Mexico

To celebrate the opening of this historic project, eight international artists have been invited to each realize a 3 poster set and a 4.5 square meter live art installation in the New Nike Sportswear store Mexico, and one of them was Popwhore.
