Biography:

Designers, studios and creatives alike is forever spending too much time trying to craft clever words that form paragraphs to try explain (in a new way) what it is that they do. Unfortunately those same paragraphs usually end up being void of any real meaning - just lots of words.

Designer, art director, creative director - I am all three. I do not specialise in any one area because design involves every realm whether it is advertising, fashion, moving image, web, print, brand or strategy...the list is growing and becoming more challenging - which is what I love.

Design is fundamentally is about communicating. That means a message, a style, a feeling or just a 'look'. To be a good designer is one thing but to be a designer, art director or creative director means being able to work with other piers as lead creative or part of a team. I very often work with other companies as either the lead creative, or part of a team for people such as Digit, Poke and unit9.
