Biography:

Paul R. Z. Guadalupe also known as Guadakomeda to the graphic design world, is a progressive designer who is in the business of making images leap from a page. He is an artist who constantly aims to uplift the standards of local editorial design. He earned his Fine Arts degree at The University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines and honed his craft with four top-notch graphic design houses, Guadakomeda chain-smoked his way to success, gaining further recognition by serving as a graphic designer and later on as creative director for two major music publications, Pulp Magazine and MTV Ink, not to mention his work on the annual The Philippines Yearbook. Also together with graphic design duo Electrolychee, he spearheaded the first successful graphic design exhibition here in manila called Versus: Design and Music Collide, where they gathered established graphic designers around the metro such as Team Manila, Inksurge, 27+20 and Everywhere We Shoot to name a few.

A strong believer in the saying that the only thing permanent in the world is change, Paul continually reinvents his persona and creative process. This is a testament to his commitment to being a true artist: how he constantly keeps up with the times without compromising his convictions and his individuality. He has recently been tapped to join one of the biggest advertising agency in the country. A new chapter in his evolution begins...
