Biography:

Currently residing in Porto, Portugal, Oscar is a 20 year old digital artist and graphic designer, who early started to get related to traditional forms of art and expression by influence of his grandfather, a religious art sculpturer. His further attachment to graffiti and urban art helped him to conceive concepts and work them artistically. Later, the fascination of technology and design lead him to modern ways of artistic expressions, such as digital art and graphic design, and around March 2003, he was creating and experimenting abstract 3d art and conceptual digital art, whose skills have been evolving at a fast rhythm ever since. Today, he is a member of the mega art collective, DepthCORE, for who great part of his art is produced for. Oscar also studies communication design at ESAD in Porto and is working as a freelance graphic designer, open for commissions. Contact Oscar at oscar.maia@gmail.com
