deadsy.tv

hey guys,
so here's a site we finished a few months back but thought we'd post up today for fear of getting accused of ripping off the splash page of today's FWA site of the day winner neave.tv :
neave.tv is of course a way more ambitious site & totally deserves the FWA award & we'd like to acknowledge it for everything it's achieved. however i'm sure you can all understand our position here.
we've spoken to paul neave about it & he says he never saw our site - which i'm sure is true as it's not exactly the most ground breaking or original of ideas. but yeah, we're just keen to get it out there & save our integrity a little before we get accused of using other people's ideas !

I really like this interface...make me feel good!!!
holy crap that's nice... :O
picks jaw off floor
Last time i had such emotions in front of a web site was when i saw the quatermass.net web site ! (now under construction...)
Really great job, i love it.
Concerning creations similar to other creations without the creators speaking to each other is normal, it's just a question of feeling the things at the same time. The guys who made Neave and the guys who made Deasy.tv are propably the same age...
EJ: Look at those 2 bootlegs mixtapes made at the same time without the people who made them knew each other.
Drixxxé Is not a DJ! part 3" V.S.
The Rub DJs - It's the Motherfucking Remix
thats a very nice site!
yeah....the site has definitely the right feeling & style! makes me laughing all the time..hahaha
keep up the excellent work!
by the way, for me the FWA is not a reference anymore... since you can "buy" an award to be featuring on their site. This is too bad
what? really? how do you come to this info???
wow, i never expected this kind of feedback at all. than you all so much for your kind kind words. i'm glad we've made something that's touched you guys like this. we are very proud of it, but even more so with a reaction like this.
cheers, la mesch also for the on topic words of advice - i think you're right of course.
thanks again, all of you.
Hi guys, just wanted to say that deadsy.tv is a wicked band site, love the distortion effects and full-screen video you have going on. It's similar to my site (neave.tv) but honestly I didn't know about yours when I was making it, the two are similar in design by total coincidence, honestly! deadsy.tv deserves all the credit it gets. Love it!
Well, start reading the submition page and the whole shit about testimonial blabla. And I got the news from a designer who "bought" one to have more traffic and visibility on the web.
fwa submition payment
There's still the final decision from the FWA jury but...
Anyway, I forgot to say "well done guys", the concept was a very good one ;)
