Graduated in industrial design, graphist and animator, Marcio Ambrosio has worked in different professions: animation, advertising, and post-production. In 1999 he went to Brussels, working in audiovisual production and post-production studios, and particpated in workshops and festivals with his art work. He formed in 2004 the collective zzzmutations, where he produces short animation films and develops experimental projects. In 2007 create Kosmo studio.

Call for participation !!
OUPS! - An installation with animation.
ANIMA MUNDI 2008 is presenting the interactive installation OUPS!, created by the animator Marcio Ambrósio.
OUPS! will be open during the festival in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. When a person enters the room, his/her image will be captured immediately by a camera and projected onto a screen. The participant begins interacting with various animated clips that also follows his/her movements.
ANIMA MUNDI is inviting animators to send a 25 sec animation to be inserted into the installation so visitors can play with your creation during the festival. It is easy to create animation for the OUPS! concept.

All the works sent will be evaluated and selected by Marcio Ambrosio and your credits will be inserted with your animation.
Deadlines for sending final work: July 5th.
