Garbage Island
I recently got rid of cable to keep myself from watching the amount of garbage that I was watching on tv. My new vice is VBS.tv, which is an online broadcast network that streams original shows for 24 hours a day. I am currently hooked on the series Toxic - Garbage Island. Watch the first episode in this post and then be sure to head on over to VBS.tv to finish up the series. It is an amazing look into the world of pollution and the effect that we as humans have on our environment.

Kudos for getting rid of the tv - I think that's kind of the way things are headed for most people these days. Kind of ironic though, you tried to stop watching garbage, and you ended up watching a show about it anyway. Seriously though, thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's an interesting film, on an important topic.
