Biography:

To whom it may concern,

I worked closely with Graeme or Grez as his friends call him during the ATTIK MA at the University of Huddersfield
for 11 months. He was instrumental in the manic creative force spawned that year with Jimmy, a wild Jack
Black like American now working at ATTIK San Francisco. Their partnership became 'EDIT-ION' a process driven
design and image conscious t-shirt manufacturing and publishing venture.

Through this and Grez's other project activity, I saw a strong and diligent work ethic in him. Every morning he'd
be at work with his external hard drive and would be well on top of things each evening to get back to his woman. A wise move since many designers fail to do this and suffer emotional fallout, depression and stir craziness.
His detail oriented academic research impressed faculty so much they tried to make him into a professor
somewhere, but he resisted since he wanted to build experience on challenging real projects before even
considering the possibility of teaching.

I must say it is quintessentially English. Grez is the eccentric craftsman/inventor. His influences include a synthesis of European couture fashion and the lowbrow aspects of British life. Perhaps it is this combination that caused famed designer Stefan Sagmeister to invite Grez for coffee to discuss design with him on Grez's next visit to New York.
