Shoreditch Grand Prix - 2008

On Sunday 31st August 2008, heroes, helmets and hearts will do battle for the greatest sporting prize in the UK... to be the winner of the Shoreditch Grand Prix.

Create a team and race for your favourite charity or come along to cheer on these urban superheroes...The quest for glory starts at 11am at the Hitchcock Memorial on the corner of Leonard and Paul Street EC2!!

The Event
* It's a motor sport event without motors
* It demands physical fitness (or stupidity)
* It's kind to the environment
* It's a Grand Prix on kiddies fun tricycles and tractors

30 teams of heroes will be blasting around the streets of Shoreditch raising money for charities, worthy causes and social entrepreneur projects that benefit the community… it's a pedal powered race of epic proportions, mixing the glamour of Monaco, the endurance of Le Mans and the idiocy of adults attempting a street race on children's toy tricycles.
