Amy Ruppel - Migratory Patterns
The Grassy Knoll Gallery features delightful drawings of one of Portland's legends Amy Ruppel. Her work is deceptively simple drawn in layers of wax, wood grains, cut paper, found art, and woodblock prints on fabric. Her artwork is featured on the Lux line of Burton Snowboards and she was Target's artist for their 2007 holiday season. If you are in Portland, you have probably seen her dashing around town on a Vespa delivering paintings from her monthly Online Sales or at her husband's fantastic restaurant Cava.
