Linn Olofsdotter - Nonsensical
Swedish-born artist Linn Olofsdotter (nakd, modernista) has a beautiful new solo exhibit at The Grassy Knoll Gallery titled Nonsensical. The show features a new series of prints on paper and the ones on canvas, created with an iris printer, need to be seen to truly appreciate the super-saturated colors and details hidden in the densely-layered, almost surreal backgrounds.
The Grassy Knoll opened its doors in august to a nearly sold-out show featuring a new series The Imaginarians by Alberto Cerriteno. The gallery aims to fill the gap in an often over-looked art form and is focusing on the work of innovative illustrators and animators. As a curator of the gallery, feel free to email submissions for upcoming shows.
