Typography kicks ass(es)

TKA is a personal project by Labworks(.de) / Patrick Goor.
One can post messages or send them to somebody via e-mail.
The message is then created using (font) photos from Flickr.
It seems so obivous that you wonder why nobody didn't think about it earlier

Who says it's a rip-off? As the original post says "It seems so obvious that you wonder why nobody didn't think about it earlier". Well, maybe somebody did.

Well folks, don't you think you're kinda over reacting?
Eventho the idea is similar in its process... and it's been done on different supports over the past year (video clip, print....). The tools are completly different, the one in flash is much much funkier to use.
Relax, take it easy ;)

The ideas are slightly different in execution, but the end result is eaxctly the same. However, I quite agree that it's not worth getting that upset about. People copy; it's how creativity works, by taking someone else's idea and adding your own bit to it. And sometimes clever people have the same idea at the same time, and it's not intentional.
