Riding on Mac

Since 3 days I'm riding on my new MacBook Pro and I'm really happy with it. The workflow is just great and of course the performance is purely awesome compared to my old Fujitso Siemens Notebook.
At first I was not really sure to throw the big amount of money away for it, but now I can say that it really pays off! Working is just fun again, so watch out for my new galleries I'll upload soon...hehe
til then and have a good one,

great! good for you. i guess it must feel good to be trendy, hun?
haha, it's not that I wanna feel "trendy" as you said, it was more a decision based on facts and possibilities that mac can give to me but windows can't...
but if you think mac owners are trendy then think so...
...and I guess this free promo for apple is to get you another free laptop?!
nice try...
:)
haahahah, funny guys...funny guys...nope, that wasn't my intention either...haha
sweet. I been thinking of going mobile also. did you get the 17"?
nope, I got me the 15' one...I'm not so a fan of those big notebooks like 17', but that's just my flavor...
ps: thx for adding me akrok!
well you can always hook it up to a nice 19" monitor.
Mankind seems to be split between those people who use and understand WHY they use Macs (hint: not primarily for the "trendiness"), and those who'd rather spend their time, money and effort worrying about viruses :D
runs ;-)
what about flash work? do you get the normal processor speed to get standard results?
i don't do flash stuff (cos flash sux hehe), but i've heard the new intel-based Macs have pretty much done away with the "hurr hurr flash on mac is sloooow" argument.
jup, that's right, I can say. In school we've such old IMacs, which are super slow...
but with the new ones, viewing is like on any other system, quite fast! But authoring in Flash is sometimes kinda slow, but as you know Adobe Studio isn't already on Universal Binaries, so I'll wait and see...
Slater: by the way, thx for adding! and I think flash is a really great tool, if it's done right ;-)
i think flash can be used in interesting ways (think yugop and similar stuff). Me, I've had too many run-ins with stupid managers asking me to "lighten up" some page with a bit of flash, "make it interactive!!" and all that nonsense. Thus, I avoid flash like the plague ;)
mhm, yeah...unfortunately the whole "lighten up this, and make this jump out there, and oh don't forget to make this spinning all the time" -thinking is in the heads of the most average webusers.
I can understand that such clients etc. can make us go crazy, but people should know that flash isn't purely about turning websites into freakshows.
