Looks very nice. It's very interesting with these types of layout — with a strong right to left then down visual line instead of the feed type (up-down). Typeneu keeps a rigid grid height, that's good. I don't really like the reformrevolution.com layout just because of the many many horizontal lines created. Typeneu is also much more dynamic, it loops the items depending on the width of user window, so you can actually control the number of items per row. Wonder if this would work in a more commercial website, where you need a stronger visual hierarchy and if you need advertising space or sponsor space that can't be placed at the bottom?

interesting comments, I love it when someone actually analyses sites/ projects with a designer mentality and we can move beyond the "looks cool" or "I don't like how it looks".

I also like this grid system, and while is not new or innovative, I have been reading a lot of negative comments about the site, on how this layout can get confusing, I think it's a good move to separate this site from others with a "non blog like" interface.

I actually think its more functional, because all the content adapts to wider monitors like you mentioned earlier, and the visual hierarchy is still there! (look how the newer posts are always on the top left, and they move down positions as they get older in the western reading order.
