I think I may just be overly cynical;, but I'm suspicious of these political posters and their motivation. There's more than a passing sense of '_designers making fancy posters_ trend' about it.
Which Russian constructivist poster did he trace for this one?
I love it... I am always impressed by Scott Hansen's work.
hey SBG,
Cold War ended millions of years ago. Stop childish comments.
This poster is amazing!
haha, i know what you mean SBG:

In regards to the previous post, I can see what Scott Hansen was doing by using his logo at the bottom on his version... but it still does raise some eyebrows. None the less I think the "PROGRESS" poster looks amazing!
yeah let's all hold hands and frolick in happy chocolate streams and float in happy rainbow skys and give all our money to the poor homeless and downtrodden. GOD DAAAAAAAMN AMERICA!!!!! NOT GOD BLESS, GOD DAAAAAAAAMN!!!!!! whoops confused my speeches there for a second.
Theres a whole bunch of artwork Scott Hansen has been "influenced" by. That communist poster is just one..
As far politics are concerned. Wouldn't a woman president also be considered "progress"?
I'm not worried about the politics - just a guy who has a long history of tracing old posters and passing them off as original work - I'm sure he just forgot to mention that it was all supposed to be in "homage" and I'm sure the people who continually propagate his stuff just forgot to mention that they don't really know much about art history.
omg....this so creepy. but to begin with, I find all the Obama supporters to be a little on the cultish side..what's with the silo little naked children holding hands with a man? the tree of life?
this just sucks
