Biography:

YouWorkForThem sells great design material online...
• Books, Magazines, Videos, CD-ROMs, T-Shirts, and more - featuring the best in contemporary design from around the world to inspire and entertain.
• "Must-have" classic educational design books to help improve your skills.
• Typefaces, Stock Design, and other tools to help enhance your work.

YouWorkForThem is not...
• A huge "kitchen sink" retailer like Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.
• A brick & mortar retailer with locations in New York, London, Paris, Munich.
• Going to carry any mediocre design product that comes down the pipe.

YouWorkForThem is...
• Open-minded - our definition of "design" transcends "graphic design" to include product design, motion design, interactive design, typography, illustration, architecture, art, graff, and the occasional plush toy (for good measure).
• Selective & Discerning - bringing you the most essential, creative, influential, important design products available.
• Rare - bringing you hard to find design classics and specialty short-run, hand-made items.
• International - offering worldwide design products unavailable in many local markets.

Black Slabbath

The heaviest typeface in the world, Black Slabbath, is now available. There’s only one thing about this new typeface that isn’t colossally black: the razor-thin white space. It slices through and between geometric characters, creating a juxtaposition of contrasts and rhythms. There will also be a Black Slabbath release party in Minneapolis, February 29th, more details at The Blog

YWFT wins the prize for showing the product in use. I would buy this font after seeing it applied to the huge wall- exactly how it should be used. Noice!
