Street Fighter is Still Around... & Making Great Animations?

Capcom just released a trailer for Street Fighter 4. They don't provide any information on the creators and are all hush on their website. Some time on Google (looking through forums you never knew existed) points to this guy: Atsushi Inaba. The Guardian interviews him here: Beauty and the Beast Okami about a 2005 game in which the protagonist uses a calligraphic brush to engage enemies and interact with the environment. Not bad for game that I thought died on Super Nintendo when I was like 13.

Nice.
But so sad, that the Street Fighter "Logo" looks like Mario Smash Football.

heres a way better resolution, click here.

ink has had it's overkill in the motion industry for some time now (digital kitchen also used it for a fighting game some good months ago) , but it's very well executed.

anyways, im feeling all nostalgic again, i really hope it remains a 2D fighter!
