Gregory Crewdson
"Gregory Crewdson born in 1962 Brooklyn, NY and lives and works in New York. In the mid 1980s Crewdson studied photography at SUNY Purchase, near Port Chester, NY. He received his Master of Fine Arts from Yale University. He has taught at Sarah Lawrence, Cooper Union, Vassar College and Yale University where he has been on the faculty since 1993." ( Wiki )

Love the way they are printed, very nice :)
i saw the luhring show yesterday in new york. it was singularly the best photography show i have ever seen. i have been a fan of his work for some years but seeing it in real life was truly the climax. the images are vast and all encompassing. the experience of standing before each one is nothing short of stunning. each one is so heavy, so beautiful and gives you so much room to think & breathe.
i cannot recommend getting down to the show space enough. it's free & open mon - sat all day. make it so.
