STIX Fonts Released for Beta Test

Beta Test Feedback Being Analyzed
Thank you for the many comments and questions that have been posted to the Web site. We are actively working to respond, but the process will take a few days.
The STI Pub Group is delighted to announce the beta test release of the STIX Fonts in OpenType format. This release includes every glyph that is planned for the final, production release which we hope will follow before the end of the year. The beta test period will run from 1 November through 15 December. Regrettably, this beta test will not include TeX support. We expect the TeX package to be ready for beta test near the end of this year.

THE DARK SIDE

"I designed a figure with Star Wars/Lucas Films that will release next Saturday at OriginalFake. I'm not too sure my version of Darth Vader would win a battle any time soon but he seems content with just dressing the part."

Murakami & Mr. for Supreme

World-renowned Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami, was born in Tokyo in 1962.
By proposing the concept of “Superflat”, he interprets modern Japanese culture in a state where the line between high and low culture has been melted. As an artist, Murakami questions the relationship between East and West, past and present, fine art, pop culture and mass media.
In 1996, Murakami founded the Hiropon Factory in order to produce large scale art works with his group of assistants and in 2001 it evolved into KaiKai Kiki. With bases in Tokyo, Saitama, and New York, Kaikai Kiki is a pioneering organization which aims to broaden the horizons and parameters of Japanese contemporary art.
One of Murakami’s most loyal assistants, also known as Mr., born in Cupa in 1969, has a body of work that thrives on the “otaku” culture of Japan. Mr. adopted his name from the national baseball superstar Shigeo Nagashima’s alias “Mister”.
His work often portrays cute cartoon characters in a highly sexual context and embodies the Lolita-esque fascination with young children which are commonplace in Japanese comics.
Supreme will release a series of limited edition skateboard decks designed by artists Takashi Murakami and Mr. The series will consist of three decks designed by each artist.
They will be available exclusively through the six Supreme stores (New York, Los Angeles and four locations throughout Japan) and selected retail accounts.
On September 20th, the skate decks will also be available in our new online shop (u.s. only).
