Biography:

As a kid, Brian Gossett drew his He-Man figures rather than playing with them. Soon he began putting muscles on everything he drew, from animals to ice cream. Today, Brian lives in Los Angeles as a freelance designer/art director and pursuing his dream as starring in the sequel to the Shogun Assassin. He is also a pretty decent graphic designer, or so he would like to think.
Brian received his BFA at the University of Houston in 2001 graduating with honors. Since then he has been involved in a wide variety of projects over the years, big and small. To this day Brian still puts muscle into his work, figuratively not literally. Some of Brian's clients include Coke, Apple, Nike, Nickelodeon, MTV, Sony Playstation, Turner South, AOL, Lexus, Rome Snowboards, IFC, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., Fox, Disney, We, Food Network, Nokia, Activision and many more.

MTV: On Air

The on air graphics of MTV have been ubiquitous as well as inspiration to most if not all designers of my generation. This book and dvd companion chronicles the entire on air brand over the years with work from Huntergatherer, Lobo, Brand New School and many more. Check it out if you can. If you live in LA you can borrow my copy. Buy it now on Amazon if you have the scrilla.

Just watch it

Mark Ronson and Alex Greenwald of Phantom Planet fame cover Radiohead's classic song "Just" I must say, I usually am not a fan of Radiohead cover songs but this soulful rendetion is pretty damn good. The video features stop animation over live action and is pretty entertaining.Just Video media2.7digital.com/motion/Mark_Ronson_Just_High.mov
