Dimensions of Fake

sketchbook
Actually i should work today in the bookstore, but there was nothing to do because no one came in to bye some books. Therefore i got some time practicing my drawing skills, which were not the best, but i gave all i can and tried the best with some portraits i found in some books in our store...(so for anyone who likes to know who they are, it's Paul Klee at the left and Alma Mahler-Werfel at the right)

Flyer for the bookstore
These are two flyers i've done for the bookstore at the Bauhaus, Dessau. It's about a book presentation that deals with the river Elbe, floating through Germany... I never ordered a print job in the internet, because i'd like to see what happens to my graphic in the printing office. But yesterday when the flyers arrived i was really surprised about the result. I think the print is done well, and i also like the recycling paper they used for it...so if anyone likes to come: 18.11.2007, 11:00, Gropiushaus Dessau. But i'm not sure if the content is that interesting;)

wallpapers from the bauhaus
At the moment we have an exhibition about the wallpapers they designed in the 1920's and 1930's at the 'Bauhaus' in Dessau. You can also have a look at it on Rasch wallpapers. The exhibition is located in the so called 'Gropiushaus', it stands in line with the other 'Meisterhouses'. You can watch it till 30th of september.
With a little tardiness i got the flyers today from the printing office, here it is..

cook with your heart
As i worked at the bookstore this weekend, i fell in love with a new book we sell. it's from the german/ italian artist larissa bertonasco (the site is only in german, you have to click on "bilder" to view the images). i like her way of dealing with drawings and handmade typography. i think it's a very emotional cookbook. maybe i gona buy it and try some recipes.
