Biography:

It’s the start of a new beginning. I have recently graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. It’s a great feeling after five years! Half it was in Scotland, the other half was in England..and I'm from South Africa, thats what you call itchy feet! I’m now on the hunt for employment, work experience and, just getting amongst it. Oh yes, I am looking for those in London who can help me with that.

I enjoy the journey of design because it can bring about the unexpected, bare truths and show beauty. My work often includes photography, illustration, doodles, fine art, typography and anything else that makes a mark. I like to make objects by hand and produce or include hand rendered visuals. Strength in my work comes from doing more than expected and changing direction. Clean, dirty, whatever fits.

Interests:

I have a great interest in photography and it’s something that I would like invest more time and money into to expand my knowledge. When my camera actually works I take snaps of textures wherever I can find them; mostly happy accidents, broken glass and creepers taking over buildings. I’m a keen ultimate frisbee player and no we don’t play on a cliff or with a serrated frisbee. I like to participate in most sports even if I am dire at them. I am a huge fan of stand up comedy and always looking to extend my DVD collection. Once I actually performed stand up comedy at a club in Carlisle.
