6 New Posters!

I've just released six new posters from my ongoing Vectorfunk Series. They are available as sets of three. The first set (pictured above) is called "Navigate The Cosmos". It features many references to space, geometry, constellations... even chess.

The second set of posters is full-spectrum color. This set comes with two abstractions of sacred geometry grids and my recent Alphafont 2.0 exploration.

Both poster-sets are now available at The MWM Online Store. Each poster is signed, dated, numbered (x/100) and shipped in a heavy-duty mailing tube. They were printed on an Indigo press on 80lb gloss cover-stock. Crispy, clean, and ready for frames!

MWM X Citroen. Green Campaign.

I recently worked with ZeegenRush & EURO RSCG & Citroen UK on this three ad "Green" Campaign for the new range of Citroen C-Cars. This project was an honor to work on for many reasons. First of all, it is positive (The C-Cars get between 60 and 70 MPG. No joke). And it is not entirely about the cars, the campaign highlights simple things you can do to be more "green"... like riding a bike and hanging clothes out to dry. The campaign also provided me the opportunity to get super-focused on realistic illustrations with my "Vectorfunk" style. Every detail had to be just right, the contours and angles needed to be dialed... but each illustration also needed the funky flair to bring it to life. This campaign is now live, running heavily in The UK. It is truly an honor to have been a part of this project. It was the most earth-positive illustration commission I've ever had. MWM: Alphafont 2.0

Alphafont 1.0 was a type project I did back in 2006. I created a library of hand drawn, funky type that I later used in various projects. My original ambitious plan was to link with a code-guru and actually dial in Alphafont 1.0 so each time you hit a letter you would get a different version of it. This way, a full typed page would have very minimal letterform repetition. Well... I slept on that one and never followed through with it. But I have been grinding away on this "Alphafont 2.0" since February. Definitely psyched about how it turned out. Has a bit of the vibe from MWM Xacto and MWM Crenshaw.

Burton "Decked Out" Show Photos.
