Draw or Die

Draw or Die, illustration and fine art from Ruby Roth.
Emerging from a lineage of romantic artists and pin-up masters, Ruby Roth's work emphasizes the inner life of a woman and a confidently wide array of beauty. Her adoring exaggeration is a cupid's arrow for admirers of the feminine form and its accoutremonts.
Ruby's sweeping parade of burlesque beauties, circus acrobats, costumed dancers, nude models, centerfold queens, and pinup girls quietly riot in the certainty that they are starlets of their own making.

Helena Blomqvist

Helena Blomqvist is just one of the great artists who's work can be seen at the Angelika Knäpper Gallery in Stockholm...
Helena Blomqvist’s art bares the double hallmark of philosophical reflection and a cunningly twisted sense of humor. Photography’s mission is for many to describe the world, make visible what we do not notice or prefer to ignore. But Helena Blomqvist’s artistic practice is not about portraying the world. Instead she builds the world, over and over again by using models and props. When she installs the camera to immortalize the scenes it is all about capturing a world that already exists. Even though the final touches are done with digital equipment her world is already present, just as real as the everyday outside her studio.
