Diesel Marketing is Dead!
On Monday november 20th, Diesel will change its name...
"There are many reasons. The most obvious one, however, is that we haven’t felt comfortable for quite a long time sharing our brand with another solidly established company— Diesel Jeans. In 1993, we chose the name without knowing that this Italian company was already quite successful in Europe. This situation impedes some important aspects of our evolution. For example, it has made recruiting professionals outside of Canada more difficult.
To be more philosophical, we are also delighted to mark a new beginning for our group. We want everyone to see just how much we yearn to continue growing as artisans and shun that which is simple or part of the status quo."
