IDEA 2008 Graduates. Will work for _______.

The graduating class of Vancouver's IDEA [Illustration/Design: Elements & Applications] Program will be having their graduation show on April 14th.

Adrenaline Vancity

This was a website I finished a while ago but have been so busy I haven't had a chance to post anything about it. Check out Adrenaline Vancity , Vancouver's biggest tattoo and piercing shop with a number of locations on both the east and west coast. The website is full flash, powered by a client management system that allows them to update everything themselves.

BaxBear Release Party

For all of those in the Vancouver area this weekend, vinyl toy producer BaxBear is having their product release party at local fashion boutique El Kartel. With over 100 artists participating in the vinyl mashup, plenty of giveaways and prizes, and who knows what else, it should be a great way to spend a Saturday evening.

Here is a preview of the one I just finished. Mouth molded and added with Apoxie Sculpt, then spray-painted and hand-painted with acrylic.

Outward Updates

A few new additions to OutwardCreative

Shown is the most recent example. The concept is the fall of the US Economy (represented by the pyramid, or 'ancient builders') with it's tears being caught by the hands of humanity, guided by god (in female form for arguments sake). It's not actually a religious connotation, just a reference to the phrase "In God we trust" inscribed on the bills, assuming that when the money was designed they trusted that God would be there, regardless of economic failings.
