Company Creative Exercise (Poster Contest)

It's been too long and I'm afraid it will go on a bit longer.

HasnainEye.com

My previous freelance design project. I redesigned and produced the layout for HasnainEye. Vector Pattern and Stock Photography was purchased for this design. I created a simple page layout. The redesign was inspired by wrinkled/textured paper and floral pattern designs.

bitter|sweet

Initially inspired by the leaked out (snippet of song was showed on mtv back in 2005) song "bittersweet" by Kanye West. The hip-POPPY beat is what gave me ideas. I saw artwork from ufho and many other artists that have this black background and glowing lights streak styles. I attempted to continue with my collage style and tracings. Here's the finished piece (small detail work can be done and probably will).

new development

Here's something I started working on this past weekend. I'll see what develops in the coming week.

css drop-down menu

I designed a simple, elegant drop-down menu that is used to compliment the cover/front page design of the bungcayao website. I really love it, because it is coded in, if not all, css. It's not complex looking. It's clean and fresh. I'm in love with it.

Moustache May

Last month I participated in MoustacheMay and based many of my designs around this fun eventful festivity.

A moustache represents masculinity, coolness, and suave. Based off of my "King of Cool" Royal Family composition, I created a desktop wallpaper for the MoustacheMay website. Yay for Moustache May!

Sanjaya + Star Jones

Before coming to an abrupt holt on anything creative in my freestyle designing, I was able to recall this design exercise I participated in with my coworker. We wrote seven words, each word, on a piece of stickies. Combined our stickies together and placed them in a Hat. My first two stickies were Sanjaya & Star. This was the concept I came up with.

Men of the Royal Family (Part 2)

Based off of those pattern designs I created (mentioned in previous post), I rolled with it and came up with a theme. Not sure why I picked the subjects I did other then they fascinate me. I'm still working on the third object/subject to work on for the 3rd panel of the layout.

Men of the Royal Family (Part 1)

During the past 2 weeks, I have had idle time. I made use of it decided to be productive. At first I wanted to create my own wallpaper pattern. I came up with 3 main patterns that ended up sparking my "Men of the Royal Family" idea.

maxima

I've had 3 major revisions and I have widdled my way down to design version 4 (but renamed as version 3). Web presentation, dimensions, size was taken into consideration. I went back and forth on a more simplistic, less distracting look vs. a more chaotic sketch busy background. I'm satisfied with this one. It balances both my initial simplistic feel with a controlled chaos. I think it will grace the splash page of my personal website for the month of March|April.
