Gone Campin'

This is a tiny little island that we canoed to in the middle of a river. We camped for the night... drank beers, had a fire and a feast. Just beautiful.

Calgary to Castlegar

If you're cool with possibly crashing into a range of jagged mountains in a small 10 seater propeller plane than I would really suggest the flight from Calgary Alberta to Castlegar BC. Sure its dangerous... but the views are spectacular on a sunny day. This photo was taken out the plane window.

Small towns and graphic design?

I'm gonna just go ahead and assume that the majority of graphic design professionals live in the big city. I would like to humbly suggest that graphic design can still be pacticed in smaller setting. As a person who grew up in a small town I find it difficult to adjust to big city living. My true inspiration comes from living in a natural setting and getting out into the mountains. If I can ski powder in the morning and do design work by night then I am sitting pretty. All that being said... I LOVE Nelson BC
Freebord

This year I've had the privilige of doing design and art direction of the 2006 Freebord brand. I've had the opportunity to work on several freebord projects since I started working here at the vacuum and I'm particularly please with where this is going. This is a poster done for Freebord Japan.
