Lightly Fly- Fashion design(Internal News)

Recently 2 weeks, I will made two paper dress in fashion class.
It's the first time that I do fashion design, and even with the material.
Such white and light napkin paper like the remarkable tradditional charactor of Chinese
who are grace, intelligent and gentlman etc. So I try to show the feeling
from my rough design.

How does Chinese cultrue could be expressed in each field successfully is the question, the task or the duty in my rest lifetime. Bless myself for my contry(is never according to the goverment in my words.). I start.

It's the second time that I work on a sculpture. I will show it in AHNE09 student exhibtion in Tallin in this May.

I miss somebody who are not far from me but keeps distance forever, although we face to each other. However, the memory belongs to us.Like a piece of feather, air or breath... ...

BOOK DESIGN-[SOUL IN DESIGN]

This my assignment of BOOK DESGN course of last two weeks. Pro.Tapio required us to
redesign a book follow its original one.The original book i choosed is -FINLAND AS AN EXAMPLE.I've got 2 most important spirits of Finish design from it:
Nature & Sauna.

So from pictures above you could see,i sauna my papers in oven.
They are smell good after "sauna",this kind of smell evoke memory of doing sauna
comfortable.In addition,it can also evoke the feeling of afternon coffee time.
Secoundly,about Nature factor in Finnish design,i put some pieces of leaves both
in bookcover and backcover.It's really nature :)

Finally,i want to say the original book is very good and i learn so many things from it.

Follow a illustration compition,i have this idea to show my social network...
Finally,i use white background which is their requirment.
I feel there is a another real world cover me when i am reading.
I am happy in that world.And I am trying to keep the ideal world come from reading
by non-stopped reading,seeing and thinking.

my card in Helsinki

Every color is unique because every people is unique whatever they are or to me.
I will tear every left part of my card to each person,and leave their signature on the
right part of my card for remembering the story between us ans for showing my repects to them.

You can chose one color you like. Or just follow the order to get one.
There are already more than 30signatures i collected,and more than 30colorful cards were in those friendsschoolmatesteachers' hands. Most of them are impressed me by this work-my cards. I am really happy about that one idea could bring happiness to others.

There is the making process.

SP' s course [Water Time____art book](Internal News)

Time is as running as floating water.
This book is made of 720 round papers. There are 1440 minutes in one day.So one paper means 2 minutes.

We can‘t keep time stay.

[thinking plaster tape-book]-from sumi's course

What i aimed at is to show how minds act. Under nowdays situation,
that life is full with various of content and the speed of life are very
fast, all kinds of information we get every day are very plentiful
and planless. Then i seperate it into four aspects in my work:
collecting information studing knowledgeponderinghave no idea

Fristly, ‘collecting information’ --people spend most of time on it.
Including you are walking on the waytalking with othershopping
etc. ‘studing knowledge’ , knowledge is the sum of understanding
about truth and principle. It forms and influence human ‘s opinion
of the world and value. ’pondering’ --rethinking the information and
lesssons and so on...Finally, ’have no idea’, sometimes you thinking
nothing, your brain is blank。There are four ways which i express the
four aspects of thinking activity in my work.

step
1 using the mask tape: paste all kinds of information from books,
mags and newspapers and so on. The behavior“paste” means
collecting information of our brain.
2 using the plaster tape to reform the last one: It is an important step.
Because the plaster tape have the medicine action-----studing
knowledge was treated as a way of building and fixing ourself. In the
same time, the secound time of paste is to show that information we
get are coming from the earth the nature,but are not our earth and
our nature. Then white color means you would be quite when you
learning something.This is different from the mask tape book which
is transparent and you can see two-sides information,but in fact one
side information are useless. It is a kind of wasting time and energy.
3 sewing a cover: the cover is a white round bag that looks as if our
brain. and make the thinking stuff in its brain.

At the last, the ‘thinking plaster tape’ is rolled up by me. (see picture)
But it also can be placed in disorder. The way of one place the book would show the way of how you treat your own information.
