Talk To Me -

"‘Talk To Me' (duration: 23mins) features over 100 messages (selected from literally thousands) that I feel have captured the essence of life for both me and a number of others in my circle as it unfolded over the last two decades. They are interwoven with music over a continuous montage of photos depicting each caller."

A beautiful, poignant and tremendously affecting autobiographical documentary in words and pictures based on 20 years of answer machine messages. The voices of old friends, former loves and relatives combine to create a moving memento mori as filmmaker Mark Craig revisits his past with the assistance of Ken Morse, the doyen of British rostrum cameramen.

Not the most visually appealing website but still a great production from a unique resource. This was aired on UK TV Tuesday 21st May 2008 by The Channel 4 British Documentary Film Foundation.
