BBC Sport's Olympics Monkey movie(Internal News)

This animated sequence, based on the classical Chinese novel, "Journey to the West", has been produced by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, the men behind virtual band Gorillaz.

It will feature on TV, radio, web and mobile, introducing coverage of the Games on BBC Sport - the Olympic broadcaster in the UK.

Radiohead - House of Cards(Internal News)

Radiohead just released a new video for its song "House of Cards" from the album "In Rainbows".

No cameras or lights were used. Instead two technologies were used to capture 3D images: Geometric Informatics and Velodyne LIDAR. Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.

Penguin Classics revamp

Penguin Classics is about to go through a revamp. Gone is the predominant black and in it's place something a little calmer and subtle. It was a very quick turnaround, but this was due to only re-skinning 'static' pages. The dynamically spooled pages will have to come at a later date.

Bond in Piccadilly

It's quite something to see your work in a printed publication, online or even on the silver screen. But having just seen it up on a 23ft wide video wall in Piccadilly Circus London, left me feeling slightly smug. This is yet another piece of the marketing campaign for Sebastian Faulks's Devil May Care, due to publish on the 28th May. The animation contains a countdown timer to the publication date and falling poppy petals all elements that now feature throughout the campaign as a whole. The animation runs on a loop for 30 seconds every 3 minutes, so if you're passing through Piccadilly and look up to the video advertising boards, you may catch it.

Bentley Bond Special Series

I’ve just finished and launched the Bentley Bond Special Series site. A fast paced project from conception to build. Rewarding but hard work. There are only 300 copies of the Special Series edition to be produced worldwide, costing £750 or $1500 each. If you want to own one, you’ll have to wait until the 28th of May, and then get your purchase order in quick.

Eric Jordan(Internal News)

Haven't been in for a while, holidays and the like. Lauryn and Aiden came down which was an absolute joy. Needless to say Emma was on the greatest form, organizing us all with the very best things to do. Behind any great man is a really, really organized woman ... with a really great sense of fun. All photos will be up soon.

In the mean time I have been listening to Eric Jordan of www.2advanced.com via his website www.neverrain.com . Great Album artwork and exceptional tunes. All of which you can download FREE from the generosity of Eric.

Bond is back

Penguin007

Working to a tight brief that gave nothing away apart from the content of the jacket, might get a few people scratching theirs heads. But in ways this made it far easier to create something that was slick, straight to the point and not cluttered with every gadget and gizmo you’d expect to find in Q’s top draw.

The backdrop throughout is the poppy. This adds the drama and sets the scene as you move through the site. It also provided me with the perfect canvas to display the 3 differing visual imprint collections of the Bond books we have. Here we created simple galleries from which you are able to view each collection as a whole and click through to read the synopsis of each book.

Over all, I hope to have designed a sophisticated, clean and compact site that creates mystery and drama, and tells enough of the story for you to want to know more.

BNET - TODAY(Internal News)

The attention to detail here is really something to be proud of. The iconography and appreciation to online typography is simply so sympathetic. Even thier meta data is to the point: BNET provides action-oriented intelligence for managerial professionals that's smart, useful, and always right at your fingertips.
