Nolobo

I recently found this very nice portfolio from mexican art director & graphic designer Enrique Camacho. Enrique has been collaborating with agencies like Juxt Interactive or EVB, check out some of his work at Nolobo.com.

Alex Peemoeller

This graphic designer from Germany developed a very interesting way-finding-system for the Eureka Tower Carpark. The distored letters on the wall can be read perfectly when standing at the right position. De-War.

Mr. Sumkin's art is a synergistic blend of lovingly crafted pen & ink watercolors with biting social commentary. Although his typographical work belies the influence of Gothic, Art Nouveau, Wes Wilson and others, Mr. Sumkin remains deliciously unique. One would be hard pressed to chose between his exquisitely designed type and his fresh style of editorial & advertising illustration. Fortunately, they compliment each other beautifully. Fabriclive 36

I just can't stop playing this great set from James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) and Pat Mahoney. Fabriclive 36 can be defined as a hot sweaty blend of seminal disco, deep rare grooves and edgy tech-infused funk from influential artists such as Donald Byrd & 125th St , Chic, Lenny Williams, Junior Byron and Love of Life Orchestra.
Andy Gilmore

Playful pattern colors with retro-look. Check it out.

Dirty Space Disco

This is just another great compilation made by the french trio D-I-R-T-Y (dirty sound system). Their mission is simple: to blow away musical boundaries, to make underground music accessible to everyone, to decode musical trends by finding these little known but essential songs, and to carefully avoid dogmatism. This compilation is devoted to what they call space disco that you may also call cosmic disco . Artwork made by graphic designers Laurent Fetis and Elisabeth Arkhipoff . My favorite tracks: Atlantis by John Forde, Stranger in the City by John Miles and Voyager II by Starbow (by the way, this last track was produced by Daniel Vangarde and guess what.. he is the father of Thomas Bangalter from the famous robotic duo Daft Punk).
Cosmic Discoteca

Club Cosmic was originally open in late 70's and this was the place where Danielle Baldelli began to experiment with music. He does not only start to mix matching beats, he has got pitchable recordplayers, and with this fine adjusting he can mix layerings of various sources. Also he lavishly uses an Equalizer to produce incredible filter effects. In Europe, this way of playing records is absolutely new, and this reason makes Daniele Baldelli quickly famous. A new musical style was born: Cosmic Disco.
Black Devil is Back!

30 years, 3 albums. The first in 1978, the second 28 years later and the third in 2008. Eight Oh Eight is the final part in the Black Devil Cosmic Trilogy. Originally released in 1978, Black Devil Disco Club was an epic journey into the deepest electronic disco. You can listen to this record on the Lo Recordings website. The artwork from this an their previous record was done by Non-Format .
