PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is made from oil, which comes from real old plants. PET is highly recyclable can be transformed again and again to un-imagined uses.
Miwa Koizumi uses a combination of heat guns, soldering irons and different cutting utensils to make these sea creatures called PETs. He wanted to work with glass but this is more fun. He has as much material as he wants just by fishing in the garbage.
