Nokia gets HONEST

Honest directed and produced a series of viral films for the Nokia N95 phone. Computers are jealous of the phones’ advanced technology so they start attacking people. We caught some of these attacks on tape and interviewed a couple of the victims. One was bitten on her chin and another had his ears chewed off. Nasty stuff. They were launched on YouTube and on Jealouscomputers.com

Building a Design Taxonomy

VisualComplexity.com has recently announced a new challenge. Acknowledging that there are a growing number of design disciplines out there, the challenge is simply to visualize this contemporary Design landscape. The output can be an interactive, static or even hand-drawn visualization. The basic criteria is that it should illustrate the levels of inter-dependency between all current design disciplines.

Adobe Interactive Wall in Union Square

As pedestrians walk past the wall, infrared sensors will lock on to the person closest to the wall, who will then be able to control a projected slider button at the bottom of the wall. As the selected pedestrian continues walking and moves the slider along, the wall will start displaying colorful animation and playing music, effects that will grow or recede at the pace that the person advances or retreats.

The wall, which is 7 feet high and 15 feet wide, will be recreated in London in early August, at the Piccadilly Circus Virgin Megastore.
