Forecast: Cloudy

"While changes in visual style, education, and practice evolved predictably in the past, some unexpected developments are affecting graphic design today. The profession many of us remember as bright and optimistic is now overwhelmingly introspective - permeated with anxiety, cynicism, and pseudo-intellectual debate..."

Forecast: Cloudy is a fantastic essay by Willi Kunz about his view of today's graphic design, featured on YouWorkForThem's Profile Mag . Well worth a read.

Crew 12 of Hyper Island are proud to announce the release of their web site Crew12.se. The production of the Crewsite this year lasted for more than 4 months and the final content is immense. Besides presenting all 61 students in full screen video Crew12.se contains a bonus section where movie clips and pictures are available from all throughout the project.
