Sometimes creativity gets lots in between politics, bureaucracy and lack of communication. That's why this puppy is set loose, an intromercial for Diddy's clothing brand Sean John, that never made it to launch. Rumors say Diddy never even saw it.
Music has been mixed by me, Fakepilot. Got some mp3’s from all the “models/artists” that was included in the photo shoot; Snoop Dog, Daddy Janky, Fabolous… There was also the famous basket ball player Dwayne. Since he doesn’t do music, I created that part myself with sounds from basketballs, growling dogs and squeaking shoes.
Didn’t create the intromercial alone this time, you can see the style is a bit more detailed; extreme. Andreas Lindholm, my colleague, created stills for me to edit and animate.

Here’s the latest from Psyop/MassMarket for Renault via Publicis, Paris.
“Fisherman” is a true co-production between Psyop and MassMarket, combining their talents for live action storytelling, design and visual effects. Produced through Stink, Psyop's European reps, the spot marks a further push into the live action arena for the New York based creative collective.
“Fisherman” tells the story of a mass of people in a city inexorably drawn to a lure, pulled to their eventual capture and possible filet.
From the start of the project Psyop collaborated closely with Publicis Paris to enhance the script, focusing on the story and the magical details of the world that bring that story to life.
With sister company MassMarket, Psyop focused on creating a seamless blend between live action and CG; Almost every scene from the spot was digitally enhanced to create this magical world. The giant was brought to life through a combination of live action and CG enhancement - the living, breathing world of his hat, for example, was created fully in cg along with other accoutrements. The city scenes utilized both digital extras, HDRI imaging, and unique caustic shaders to create the intrigue of the Clio lure.
The overall result is a visually beautiful fairy tale brought to life with the coolest vfx tools.
