Our connections are dope design from some of the best that do it and the chronsby, spliffs, and hash. The HST tribute is a collaborative effort between two distinct designers. Luca Lurenti (MkLane) from Rome and Omar Vega (No Love Lost). Designers like Aerosyn Lex the Creative Director of the KDU, Karl Kwasny (Monaux) all the way in Australia, and Electric Heat’s Nigel Dennis all put their skills to work to create this new seasons fiyah..

Parent is a design studio from the United Kingdom. A nice, simple and slick lateral sliding interface gives you a glimpse into what they are capable of.

Helvetica Doc.

The Helvetica documentary has been screening at festivals and select cinemas for a few months now, but the DVD release is still pretty new. I watched it last night and was blown away by the brilliance of this film. Insightful, informative and surprisingly entertaining, well worth getting a copy of. The extras are great too, with 'off camera' style interviews with some almost god-like names from the world of typography.

Mac Christmas

Apple refers to those classics stop-motion christmas movies all we enjoyed when we were kids in this funny new spot part of the Mac/PC campaign. I really like the PC guy character!

Royale seems like they're gunna put out some ridiculous work. This first spot is for the 9th Anniversary DVD from Flaunt Magazine.

Nike Plus

As a follow up to the success of the series of winter themed animations in 2006 Nando Costa and Nervo's Team in collaboration with the creative team of Nike (MannyB) has created this new spot used to promote Nike Plus, the product developed by a Nike and Apple collaboration.

As an additional note, the music track also was made at Nervo by Darrin Wiener, Nervo's Music Director.

Vineyard

Really sweet commercial delightfully directed by Olivier Gondry, yes that's right, Michele Gondry's brother. Piece created for the Beringer Wine brand by Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco. Not sure how much was a digital visual effects and how much a stop motion with paper, maybe a combination of both, anyway is a GREAT animated piece!
